HaiQ

2014-03-04 23.35.10I came across this app the other day. I’ve downloaded it. Played around with it. And have yet to be impressed with it. I see potential – but I keep wonder ‘what’s the angle?’ I couldn’t find any corporate messaging or anything behind it…

But here, you try. This app is called HaiQ. It takes Instagram photos from your area and mixes it with (some interestingly translated) haiku. This was designed by Alquimiawrg (not a spelling mistake) which is member of the White Red Green group. I don’t know what that means, but it seemed important.

Ciao, Tokyo!

This one’s for you, my outdoor advertising enthusiast. You think you’ve seen station domination? You ain’t seen nothin!

M&C Saatchi in Milan turned one of their subway stations into an exact replica of Shibuya Station in Tokyo for their client “Fastweb“. Watch this.

Spank You, Italy

Check out the set of print creative I found from Italian ad agency ALCH1M1A (what?).

At first glance, the illustration looks fun! Oh! Bright colours! But then you look at it… and well, it’s kind of effed-up.

This sauce company, Gionis, launched its squeeze bottles and decided to announce it to the world through  a series of illustrated bottles semi-sexually spanking fresh-faced boys and big-breasted ladies.

I mean, who wouldn’t automatically go there?

Everything is Bigger in Texas, Including Production Budgets

Richards Group, a creative agency from Dallas Texas created this adorable spot for the new and very compact Fiat 500. The commercial is called “Immigration” and reinforces the Italian origin of the Fiat brand while celebrating its arrival in America. Fun, snazzy, and zazzly – this commercial matches the personality of the car it’s selling.

Tuesday Tricks

We’re hitting the dark corner of the archives today, kids. Prepare yourselves for this lot. I don’t suggest you eat while you watch these.

First on the docket, an incredibly disturbing spot by DDB, New York. Apparently the blue hairs down in Florida get a little freaky.

From geezers doing it, to a big, fat nudist. (It’s too late to turn back now.) This revealing spot is for Vigor Plan Soil. This is the uncut version by Armando Testa
SpA, Italy. (Yeah, I heard it.)

And finally, for those of you who are still with us, the final cringe-worthy spot packs an unexpected punch while showcasing the product’s features. The agency and country are unknown.

There's plenty more where that came from!
