I have three short movies for you today. This should keep you occupied for approximately nine minutes and nine seconds, give or take, depending on how hung over you are this morning.
None of these are mind-blowingly fantastic. But they must be interesting as I had them in my stash for the last three months.
Mac ‘n’ Cheese
One of my favourite foods, and probably the best animation out of the bunch. This 2:43 video was created by students at the Utrecht School of Arts in the Netherlands. The story line is a little bizarre, but that’s what gives it charm.
“Evolution as a function gain is called neomorphic.” And stop-motion animation videos with mangled baby dolls is called deranged.
Last but not least, this video was cute, but it lacked originality. Not to mention an appropriate score. I automatically thought Star Wars meets Wall-E, but the creator says he was channeling Bill Watterson, creator of Calvin and Hobbes. I think he was full of shit.
