First Aid is easy to learn and the Red Cross is trying to encourage Australians to book classes through this illustrated spot featuring band-aid happy women named Betty. Betty loves her Band-Aids but they’re not always the right solution to a problem. (Clearly Betty has problems that can’t be fixed by a Band-Aid.)
I love the simplicity of this spot. It just goes to show that you don’t need a million dollar 3-D animation to sell your ideas.

However, the creative doesn’t really do much for the brand. In fact, I’ve just watched the spot and already forget the name. But still, cats!

All the time and effort that went into creating this spot was generously donated as Good Books gives all of its retail profits to Oxfam to help fight against poverty and social injustice.
There are no mark-ups and the delivery is free worldwide. An interesting concept to be sure, and kudos to The Mill and String Theory for getting behind this.
